See me fly, Believe me I can fly

親愛的SS：


今天你跟同級同學一起參加學校安排的三天兩夜宿營，爸爸媽媽緊張了整個星期。過去兩個晚上都忙著張羅你的行李，因為要把每樣衣物裝進透明袋子，寫上標籤附註，好讓你容易辨認，需要時懂得取出。本來放好的衣服，怕不夠保暖，結果換了一批；準備好的行李袋，最後嫌它不容易開，又給你換了一個小行李箱子……，終於折騰到半夜。

雖然上學期你曾經跟學校去了一趟兩天一夜的宿營，有了那次的經驗，我們理應放心一點。可是這幾天你的咳嗽未痊癒，今天天氣又轉冷，這次還要離家兩個晚上，爸爸媽媽不免擔心。好在你終於肯穿上長袖衣服長褲子，出發前吃了藥，只能希望你會好轉。

今早看見才八歲半的你自豪又自信地揹著背包，手裡拉著一個小小行李箱走出家門，爸爸媽媽還是不斷地叮囑你要聽老師話，要穿外套，不要自己走開……。儘管JJ吃醋在一旁哭鬧著也要去宿營，你卻以堅定的眼神和語氣回答我們： Yes!

孩子，爸爸媽媽知道你正按著自己的步伐成長，邁向獨立自主。但願你能藉著這次經驗，學習社交技巧，提高自理能力。尤其是教導了你兩年多的「影子老師」找到好工作，下個月離任了，對此爸爸媽媽不無憂慮。但是，無論前面的路有多困難，我們一定會盡力幫助你；多渴望有一天你能克服障礙，展翅高飛，就像今天你用肯定的語氣告訴我們―― I can fly!
