時鐘剛過了午夜12點，送走了2008年，現在是2009年伊始。你們兩個早已睡著了，望著酣睡中的你們，媽媽思潮起伏。

日子過得飛快，打從你們兩個都上了小學，媽媽就覺得時間過得特別快，頭上的白髮也越來越多。2008年社會上是不平靜的一年，天災人禍頻繁，金融海嘯影響全球經濟，至今餘波未了，以致在香港，許多人在工作崗位上都承受著重重的壓力，媽媽就有同事因而猝然逝世。2009年會是怎樣的一年？恐怕情況不容樂觀！可是，寶貝，無論外面如何，爸爸媽媽都會盡力為你們營造一個安穩的環境，好讓你們快樂地成長！

回想過去一年，你們兩個都有很大的長進！爸爸媽媽知道你們正按著自己的步伐學習，大家都盡力幫助你們。感謝天父安排了疼愛你們的人，圍繞著你們的是許多如天使般的老師和同學，只盼你們繼續在愛中生活！

親愛的孩子們，每天回家看見你們純真可愛的笑靨，是我們最大的安慰！不管工作有多勞累，只要知道你們有進步，哪怕只是一丁點，都能支撐著我們奮鬥下去！

寶貝，讓媽媽親親你們，願你們做個甜夢！求天父在新的一年繼續帶領、保守你們！但願你們每一天都過得美好！
